As Pamela is busy packing the food, I'm here doing a last minute round up of what I've had to finish off this week. Last weekend on the West Harrison run I discovered that my clutch was not holding. After a quick trip back home, and a great response by Aart and Alan to get me a good used pressure plate and release bearing, I had it back together again Monday evening. Then, retorquing the springs again, reinstalling the roof rack, fixing a pesky fuse problem, fastening on some seat covers, changing all the fluids and greasing it, putting a leather strap on the antenna to keep it from hitting the metal roof, buying ratchet straps and bungies, buying more straps, installing the rear package tray to hold soft stuff, then gathering all the camping supplies together, and now we're more or less packed.
We leave tomorrow morning for Vernon to drop off Willow and have a short visit with the inlaws, then head northward to meet the rest of the group Saturday night or Sunday AM. The preparations for this have been rather steep, so hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come.
